Hey hey! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! =D Spent New Years Eve at Isabel's cousin's house. Was quite alright. Pretty aimless at first but eventually we found something to crap about. And we took lots of pictures at the playground and played with one of the resident's three dogs! Haha. Was really fun. Oh yah. And i got late presents from Ram, Jason and Auntie Clara. Hehe. Got the killers cd from Ram and a bear and cup from Jason. Auntie Clara gave me 50 bucks. Thanks a lot for the prezzies! =D Don have the pictures with me. So ill upload another time. =D
Hehe. And we've finally decided on a puppy. We've switched from a silky terrier to a pomeranian and finally a MINI MALTESE! Ill show you guys pictures once the puppy comes next sunday on the 7 of Jan. =D
Woke up late on the start of the New Year. Spent the rest of the day just cleaning the house and throwing away all the junk. Watched So You Think You Can Dance at night. Allison and Ivan make such a cute couple on stage! =D Rooting for them in the competition. Hehe. Then there's the liverpool vs bolton wanderers match. My gerrard baby scored two mintues after crouch. =D Happy happy! And Kuyt scored the third! WOOT! Three goals is a great start to the New Year. Hehe. And Gerrard did this cute bow after he scored. AHHH! STEVEN GERRARD'S THE BOMB! Haha. =D
And i'm got news for you guys!! =D =D Gerrard Baby was awarded an MBE in the Queen's New Year's Honours list. Hehe. Check out this news. I'm super proud. =D
Gerrard can now look forward to a trip to Buckingham Palace to collect his award after an inspirational couple of years as Liverpool skipper during which he has led the Reds to Champions League and FA Cup glory.
"I am absolutely thrilled and honored to receive this recognition for
playing a game I've loved all my life," Gerrard said.
"This is a good reward for Steve because he's a nice boy, a good professional and the captain of this club," said Benitez, who is pictured above congratulating Gerrard at Melwood. "Everyone must be very proud of him, but I would also say this is an award for the club, the supporters, his team-mates and his coaches.
There can be few modern-day footballers who so perfectly embody their club, fans and city as Steven Gerrard. The England midfielder, now MBE, is Liverpool. A born and bred Scouser, he is a one club man. The surprise is that it has taken so long for him to be honoured.
